now i've been reading a book titled catch 22 lately..
and as we all know, books have the wonderful power of making ur mind go wild..
so right now as i'm munching on my fried egg and typing this entry, my mind is going haywire..
the book itself is for the insane..
there's nothing in the book that a normal minded human being would find funny.. or even interesting..
it's probably written for the insane, by an insane.. they're all the same, lunatics trying to take over the world..
just to illustrate my point, here, read this..
'I think you're crazy,' was the way Clevinger had responded to Dunbar's discovery.
'Who wants to know?' Dunbar answered.
'I mean it,' Clevinger insitted.
'Who cares?' Dunbar answered.
'I really do. I'll even go so far as to concede that life seems longer i -'
'- is longer i -'
'- is longer - Is longer? All right, is longer if it's filled with periods of boredom and discomnfort, b -'
'Guess how fast?' Dunbar said suddenly
'Huh?'
'They go,' Dunbar explained.
'Who?'
'Years.'
'Years.'
'Years,' said Dumbar, 'Years, years, years.'
and this
There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one's own safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind, Orr was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn't, but if he was sane he had to fly them. If he didn't want to he was sane and had to.
